How I almost made it !!!
Hakuna Kitu ukua fupi kama weekend…..
But if you had one like mine yours was fairly long. It was the afternoon that was supposed to be my last one kama sijaomoka. I was making it! Or I made it!!! Or at least dressed in my obviously high-class neat three-piece conservative dark suit, I felt I had made it.
Having had saved for my first drive over the years I was particularly over confident as I walked majestically to my bank teller to get some notes that were supposed to be exchanged with my first log book later in the afternoon. Remembering the efforts and the discipline I had to input during my five year duration saving plan I felt a flare of joy, my spirits brightened! Shortly, I was achieving my new year resolutions.
In a split second, my ever smiling bank teller had handed me my Envelope with my notes well stacked. Obviously after a short process that involved me signing off the receipts!!! I left my banking premises all efforts focused on my next destination. It was to be the last walk I would make that day by foot for sure!!!
As I maneuvered through the streets of my busy town careful not to hit human traffic, I felt a slight jab on my shoulder. I was startled at first but I guessed it was the most honorable thing for a friend to do now that there are all these Social Distancing COVID 19 rules. I turned back with my attention shifting to this smartly dressed individual who had found it fit to pause my last walk to making it.
With a string of questions there was a thing that was peculiar with this gentleman. He kept on asking questions of an infamous location in town. Being the good Samaritan I always am, I found a reason to engage this particular individual. I wanted to help little did I know I was an heist in progress. In no less than two minutes they had managed to cast their spells on me and robbed me off my hard earned money!!!
